With ClearBrain, you can export your predicted users into Salesforce Marketing Cloud for email retargeting via the Data Extensions method.
To connect your Salesforce Marketing Cloud account to ClearBrain, please follow these steps.
Step 1: Create an Installed Package in Salesforce
The first step in creating your Salesforce - ClearBrain integration is to create a new Installed Package in your Salesforce Marketing Cloud Database.
From your Dashboard, select the "Administration" settings page from the drop-down menu in the top right navbar.
Once in the Administration Settings, go to your "Account" tab, and then select the "Installed Packages" option from the drop-down menu.
Finally you will you be taken to a list of your Installed Packages. Click "New" in the top right corner, and you provide it with a unique name.
Step 2: Create an API integration in Salesforce
Within the Installed Package that you created in Step 1, you will next need to create an API key specific to your use in ClearBrain.
From the Installed Package created, select "Add Component" at the bottom of the page.
Once selected, you will be given a prompt as pictured above. Select "API Integration", and you'll be redirected to the next screen where you can grant specific permissions to the API key.
In adding the API integration, make sure to go to the "Data" section of permissions, and select "Read" and "Write" underneath the "Data Extensions" category.
Once selected, click save and you will have created a unique API key for use in ClearBrain. Make sure to copy the "Client ID" and "Client Secret" text in the API Integration created, as pictured below.
Step 3: Add your Salesforce Client ID & Secret in ClearBrain
Once you have created your API integration in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, you can complete the process in ClearBrain.
From the Connections Tab in ClearBrain, click the "Add Connection" button. From the pop-up modal that appears, select the option for "Salesforce Marketing Cloud".
In the subsequent modal, you will see a field for Connection Name. Enter in a unique name for what you would like to call your Salesforce Marketing Cloud connection, as this will be the name displayed in ClearBrain.
Finally, enter the Client ID and Client Secret keys you copied at the end of Step 2, into the respective fields in the modal.
Click the "Create Connection" button, and you will have successfully added your Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration to ClearBrain!
